Sichuan Global Insulator Co., Ltd. was established in April 2007. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sichuan Yibin Global Group Co., Ltd., and is an integrated enterprise dedicated to research & design, manufacturing, and sales of toughened glass insulators. The company has strong expertise in glass production technology, with a team of 484 experienced and skilled engineers, technicians, operational workers, and management personnel.
The company is located in the National-Level Economic and Technological Development Zone of Chengdu (Longquanyi District), with a net area of 178,310 m². By importing first-class glass insulator production equipment and inspection and testing equipment from Germany, Italy, Switzerland, etc., the company has established an internationally advanced production line for high-voltage toughened glass insulators, with an annual production capacity of over 22,500,000 AC and DC glass insulators.
The company has established a complete management system, including the ISO9001 quality management system, ISO14001 environmental management system, ISO50001 energy management system, and ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management system. All systems are audited and run efficiently, ensuring product quality and a high level of management to maximize customer satisfaction.
The glass insulators’ mechanical ratings range from 40 kN to 840 kN with various profiles, including standard type, anti-pollution type, external-rib (double-shed and triple-shed), and aerodynamic type, etc. All products are qualified through type tests and sampling tests according to relevant standards such as IEC, Chinese standards, ANSI, or customers’ specific requirements. More than 60 million pieces of our glass insulators have been supplied to utilities including State Grid Corporation of China and China Southern Power Grid Company Limited. These insulators are used in AC transmission lines from 10 kV to 1000 kV, and DC transmission lines of ±500 kV, ±800 kV, and ±1100 kV. Among these, over 5.6 million pieces have been applied in EHV lines. Our company has become a major supplier to State Grid Corporation of China and China Southern Power Grid Company Limited. Additionally, our company has been approved as a qualified supplier by foreign utilities such as Power Grid Corporation of India, National Grid of UK, PSE, SEC, ESKOM, Fingrid, etc.
